What time does the Expo open?

The next Bump & Baby Expo will take place on Sunday 7th April 2019. Doors open at 10am and the show closes at 4pm (last entry at 3pm).

Getting to the venue

York Racecourse lies within a mile of the city centre and is served by convenient road and rail access routes.

Travelling by Road

York Racecourse is located within a mile of the A64 – one of York’s main trunk roads.  Please see map for the location of York Racecourse. Postcode for satnav: YO23 1EX

There is extensive free parking onsite.

Travelling by rail

York is one of the UK’s major railway stations and connects with many routes. Once at the station it is a short hop to the racecourse by bus (frequent service running every 10 minutes) or a 5 minute taxi journey which will cost in the region of £7-8.  It is approximately 1.5 miles if you wish to go by foot.

On arrival, pass through the Houghton Building to access the Knavesmire Stand (look out for the green ribbons and balloons).

Baby Changing Facilities

There are several baby changing facilities available at the venue.  These are clearly signposted.

Feeding your Baby

We are breastfeeding friendly throughout the venue, but if you would like privacy please let a member of staff know and we will be able to find you a private room.
 
However you choose to feed your child we will try and make you as comfortable as possible.

Cash or Card

We can take payment by cash or card for on the door ticket sales. Some of our stall holders accept card payments, but many do not. To avoid disappointment, we recommend bringing cash with you. There are ATMs onsite.

Car Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking available at the Racecourse, and it is FREE!

Food and Drink

There is a cafe onsite in the Expo that will be serving refreshments throughout the event.

Can I bring my other children?

Of course you can bring along other family members! There is a cafe on site for those essential snacks, a Toddler Activity Area with fun things for younger children and plenty of shopping for older babies too.

Entry is free for children under the age of 16, though they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
